Good throwline is light enough so its own weight doesn’t drag down your toss. It is braid, not twist, so it is less likely to kink. It is thick enough so it doesn’t cut your fingers when you throw it, but not so thick that it flies poorly behind the weight, or creates too much friction sliding over the branch.
This 1/8" nylon kernmantle cord is an effective and economical throwline. It is the first line for hand throwing to appear in the New Tribe catalog. Because it is so supple and soft, this is the perfect throwline to use with our Linemug. The Linemug easily holds up to 200 feet plus a Shot Pouch.
Properly stuffed in the bag or flaked onto the ground, this line pays out beautifully, and slides easily over most branches.*
We offer Blackline in precut lengths of 100’ and 150’ and 200’. If you want a custom length, call or email us. We sell it at the per-foot price, and we will cut it for you for an additional $3.50 cut fee.
