It's a rope bag, a tarp, and a backpack. For efficient rope management, spread the tarp, flake the rope onto it, fold in the sides and roll it up into the pack like a burrito. Pull the drawstring snug, cinch up the compression straps and sling it onto your back to hike out to the trees.
To deploy, unroll the tarp and haul up your rope free of tangles or debris from the ground.
The pack is roomy at 16 inches tall and 10 inches in diameter. The tarp measures 40 by 55 inches and is sewn securely into the pack. There are two contrasting color loops on the tarp where you can tie the ends of your rope to keep it in order. Fits up to 300 feet of 7/16" rope.
Compression straps, waist belt and padded shoulder straps are all adjustable, providing for a stable, comfortable load. There is a large convenient pocket on the outside, and tie-downs on top for lashing on extra gear.
